I often waited 30+ minutes for the manager of a restaurant to bring over the allergen folder or found myself asking staff that weren't sure and struggling to get the information I needed. Alternatively, some venues just decided to upload a huge pdf document to a QR code that left me pinching and zooming to try and make sense of it.
One time I was frantically stood in St. Pancras station with an A3 allergen table, using my debit card to align the rows and columns up to make sure I could safely eat a baguette — there had to be a better way?!
